Chamber’s latest initiative to support local business
2020 is proving to be one of the most challenging years we’ve faced for a long time. The impact of COVID-19 has been particularly hard felt by many of our wonderful local businesses. Mosman Chamber of Commerce would love to see these businesses get back on their feet as soon as possible so they can continue to provide a valuable resource for our community well into the future.
With that aim, Chamber has launched an initiative to encourage our local community to Think Mosman First whenever they have a need for goods and services.
Many residents do shop locally which is fantastic and very much appreciated, however we want to remind everyone of the importance of supporting local businesses during these challenging times.
The Chamber has developed the recognisable Think Mosman First logo featured above and we’ve distributed Information kits (letter of explanation, widow decal and counter sign) to every business in Mosman. We are asking businesses to display these logos prominently as soon as possible to help the initiative gain momentum.
With the support of Mosman Council, a similar letter has been sent to every resident in Mosman, asking for their ongoing support and encouraging them to always Think Mosman First when they have a need to make a purchase, use professional services or enjoy a meal at one of our fabulous restaurants and cafes. Residents should keep an eye out for the colourful red and blue logos, prominantly on display in our local shops and businesses.
With businesses and residents working together we will ensure our wonderful local community can survive this crisis and continue to thrive for years to come.
Let’s all – Think Mosman First!
