Business With A Heart

Business With A Heart’s mission is to bring joy and happiness to sick children in hospitals across Australia through the gift of a Special Bear Friend. These Bears, sponsored by businesses, not only bring comfort to children but also create a ripple effect of goodwill in the wider community.

Founded by Tania Mastroianni, a resilient entrepreneur who has overcome the trials of living with a Congenital Heart Condition, undergoing 8 heart surgeries, experiencing a stroke, and now living with a pacemaker.

Tania’s inspiring journey serves as the heartbeat of our mission, inspiring both individuals and corporations to join in making a meaningful difference. Tania has been sought by companies such as PepsiCo and Rio Tinto to be a guest speaker at corporate team building events. Tania shares her vision of connecting the wider community to those who undergo challenges at various ages.

If you are a business with a heart and would like to make a difference in the lives of children, teenagers and their loved ones going through challenging journeys, reach out today and find out more via the following link:

Cancer Council

Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity, and the only Australian charity working across every aspect of every cancer, from research to prevention and support. Our vision is a cancer free future, and every day across the country our federation is working towards that, helping to reduce the physical, emotional and financial burden of cancer on the lives of all Australians.

One of our standout initiatives is our annual Gala event, Stars of the North, held in the vibrant heart of Sydney’s North Shore. A night where twelve local celebrities team up with dance instructors for a memorable performance. Beyond the glamour and glitz, it’s a meaningful event that highlights the collective effort needed to fight cancer.

This event isn’t just a local hit; it’s a media sensation, drawing attention and support. We keep it rooted in the community, providing a stage for local businesses and dancers. This focus not only strengthens community ties but also amplifies the impact of the event.

Stars of the North blends glamour, purpose, and community involvement, showcasing our commitment to comprehensive cancer support and a united pursuit of a cancer-free future.

SeeBeyondBorders

SeeBeyondBorders is an Australian-accredited charity improving education for primary school students in rural Cambodia. We train and mentor teachers and support communities to value education, prioritise teacher development and improve education outcomes.

Today, Cambodian children average just 4.8 years at school and less than 3% reach baseline-levels in maths and literacy by age fifteen. We believe quality education provides children with lifelong opportunities and releases families from poverty. In the past 12 years, SeeBeyondBorders has mentored over 500 teachers and improved outcomes for over 27,000 children.

Our Australian office is based in Mosman, and we invite local Mosman businesses and the community to get behind our vision for a generation of Cambodian school children empowered by education.
We offer meaningful partnerships with measurable outcomes. We can support your goals in staff engagement, brand alignment and corporate social responsibility through fundraising events, ‘lunch and learn’ presentations, workplace giving and matching, team-building visits to Cambodia and SDG-aligned impact reporting.

SeeBeyondBorders is ready to deliver impactful programs to address educational challenges in Cambodia, but we can’t do this without support from organisations like yours.

Please reach out to Sally Miles, Chief Executive (Australia) on 02 9960 7077 or sally.miles@seebeyondborders.org to find out more.
