Business With A Heart is a purpose-first organisation dedicated to inspiring joy, hope, and comfort in the lives of sick children and adults facing life-threatening illnesses, one Special Bear Friend at a time.

Founded in 2020 by Tania Mastroianni, the organisation was born from lived experience. Tania has navigated life with a congenital heart condition, enduring eight heart surgeries and a stroke, and she now lives with a pacemaker. Driven by her journey, she created Business With A Heart to provide Special Bear Friends to those facing illness, from children in hospital to adults in nursing homes, while supporting the families who walk that road beside them.

Through the support of business sponsors, these Bears bring comfort while creating a ripple effect of goodwill throughout the wider community. Our Special Bear Friends deliver hope to families, give businesses the opportunity to make a real difference, and amplify awareness for vulnerable communities and their families.

Business With A Heart partners with charities, hospitals, and health facilities that share their mission, delivering Special Bear Friends directly to those who need them most. This work has led Tania to speak and collaborate with companies including PepsiCo and Rio Tinto, sharing her vision of connecting communities with those facing challenges at every step of their journey.
