Tireless Advocate for Mosman Businesses
Chamber President, Tamara Keniry, was awarded North Shore Local Woman of the Year 2022
The Chamber would like to thank the Mosman Daily for a fantastic article that summarises the recent initiatives of the Chamber, and the Committee’s work, in representing local business over the past few, very challenging, years.
Our ‘Think Mosman First’ campaign, reminding locals to always think “Can I get what I need right here in Mosman” has been a big success and on behalf of local business we thank the community for their ongoing support.
2nd January 2023
The Premier of NSW, Dom Perrottet, visited local Mosman businesses in early 2023.
Chamber President, Tamara Keniry, was invited to join Felicity Wilson MP, to meet with the NSW Premier, and to visit a number of local businesses on the 2nd January 2023.
The opportunity to welcome the Premier to our suburb, and to meet and speak with our local business community, was a great start to the year.
Premier Perrottet visited Avenue Road Cafe, Pattison’s Patisserie Mosman, Auguste the Old Place, and Rustique Bakery. He was able to chat with the business owners about their recent experience, gain valuable feedback on current challenges, and their outlook moving forward.
The Chamber would like to thank Felicity Wilson MP, our State Member, for giving Mosman Chamber the opportunity to be involved and to share our thoughts and insights with the Premier. He was keen to hear how local business had gone through Covid, how the Government’s relief packages had been received, and the experience post-Covid to the recent Christmas period. We discussed ongoing staff shortages which are still significantly impacting many sectors of the economy, in particular hospitality.
